made_in_saPreparation of products from the IT industry and graphic and fashion design for the branding called Made in Sarajevo is at the beginning. This is a student initiative launched by Edin Puzić with several of his colleagues from the Economics Faculty in Sarajevo.

He told portal ekapija.ba that the initiative Made in Sarajevo represents an effort to support products and services that are from Sarajevo. Puzić, who is engaged in web developing and is a student, came up with the idea to start a website that would contain a database of all the companies and freelancers that work in the IT industry, and in fashion and graphic design.

He is currently working on developing a site with a database with the companies, and after that he will try to establish contacts with the companies. ‘’In this way, we will allow freelancers and small companies that are not able to come to the fore in the market to have their work be visible to the public, and this would make it easier for them to reach potential clients and new jobs’’, he said.

If the project develops in the right direction, the plan is to allow those who show quality in their work to be allowed to use the logo Made in Sarajevo, which will be a guarantee of quality.

The YERP program and the Center support their idea for Entrepreneurship at the Economics Faculty in Sarajevo.
