How many Cars were registered last Year in BiH?

In 2017, a total of 628.873 vehicles were registered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which is 2.8 percent more compared to a year earlier, according to Federal Statistics Institute data.

Out of the total registered number of road motor vehicles in 2017, 87 percent refers to passenger, 10.9 percent to cargo and 2.1 percent to all other categories of vehicles.

Observed by age, out of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 6.1 percent are in the category of up to five years, 41.5 percent are in the category of six to fifteen years, while 52.4 percent are older than fifteen years.

By the type of propellant fuel in passenger vehicles, gasoline drives 135.044 vehicles, diesel 400.003, natural gas 12.060, and electric power 233 vehicles.

Out of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 46.933 refers to the road motor vehicles which were registered for the first time in 2017, which is 0.2 percent more than in 2016, when 46.843 vehicles were registered for the first time.
