Many Citizens on a Public Celebration of the New Year’s Eve (gallery and video)

[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Those who have decided to welcome the New Year 2016 on the Square of children of Sarajevo, entered the New Year with songs by local bands: Radarska kontrola, Zoster, Velahavle and Amel Curic.

The public celebration of New Year 2016 in the capital of B&H was attended by a large number of citizens and it was organized at plateau on the Square of children of Sarajevo, with motto “Idemo ludo, idemo jako u Novu, 2016 godinu (Go crazy, go hard in the New 2016)”.

This year, the City of Sarajevo, Canton Sarajevo, the Municipalities: Stari Grad, Novi Grad, Novo Sarajevo and Centar, participated in the costs of organizing the public celebration, which cost 70,000 BAM.

The public celebration was live broadcasted by the TVSA, so even those who decided to welcomed the New Year in their homes, were able to watch and feel the atmosphere at the Square of children of Sarajevo.

The members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton made sure for everything to go smoothly.

For those citizens who had decided to use the public transport at the New Year’s Eve, the Government of Sarajevo Canton provided free transportation in GRAS vehicles.
