Mayor Komšić welcomed participants of the 9th Bosnia International Music Festival (BIMF)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić met yesterday with the manager of Bosnia International Music Festival (BIMF) Zemira Masleša and dean of University from Nevada Jeffrey Koep , who is also a member of the Board of BIMF.

Guests of the festival- singers from Zagreb Mislav Pavlina nad Karli Fio also attended the reception, after they offered a great concert in the House of BiH Armed Forces.

Komšić said that Sarajevo has the honour to host renowned names of the world music scene and noted that the event is indeed a very significant one, since there will be several workshops for youngest citizens which will educate them about music.

Masleša thanked Komšić and City Council on their financial support, thanks to which all concert will be free of charge for all visitors, and she said she’s glad that City Council proclaimed the festival as important event for the City.

Koep thanked mayor and the City in the name of the Board noting that Sarajevo is a lovely city with pleasant people.

Pavlina and Fio noted that musicians from Sarajevo gave them the title ‘the most loyal and the best partners of BIMF’.
