8758Mayor Ivo Komšić received today in an inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to BIH Juriaan Kraak, who wished him wisdom, happiness and success in his future work.

“Passing through Sarajevo, I am glad that everywhere I see signs of support of my country to BiH’’, said Kraak, and added that the interest of the people in the Netherlands for the events in our country is still high.

Mayor Ivo Komšić expressed his satisfaction at the successful cooperation of the city of Sarajevo with the Dutch Ambassador, which is based on friendship ties.

“The list of assistance from your country to Sarajevo and BiH is long, but what is more important is for us to see what kind of cooperation we can see today’’, said Komšić, and added that at this moment it is most important for countries that helped our country in the past 20 years to devote that assistance today to local communities and their projects.

Speaking on the problem of stray dogs, Ambassador Kraak said that Dutch Animal Rights Groups have expressed their satisfaction with certain action that had the aim to solve the urgent problem.

At the end of the discussion, Ambassador Kraak said that the Embassy of the Netherlands is ready to continue to lend moral and material support to the positive events in BiH, announced the City of Sarajevo.
