Medvedev threatens again: We will do everything to bring Russian Tanks to the Republic Square in Berlin

The former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has been more active on social media for the last few days, especially after the Ukrainian offensive near Kursk, where he has been issuing numerous threats. The last one among them also referred to Germany.

Namely, Medvedev referred to the writings of the German Bild, in which it was emphasized that German tanks had returned to Russia, alluding to German donations of tanks to the Ukrainian army, which are now being used in the offensive on Russian territory.

“The German newspaper Bild published a revanchist article in which it proudly announces the return of German tanks to Russian soil. In response, we will do everything to bring the latest Russian tanks to Republic Square,” Medvedev said.

In this context, the former president of Russia was referring to the square in Berlin where the Bundestag, or the German Parliament, is located.

Medvedev commented on the Ukrainian offensive before and said that Russia should no longer talk about restrictions when it comes to Ukrainian territory.

“From this moment on, the special military operation (the term used by the Russians for the war in Ukraine), should acquire an openly extraterritorial character. This is no longer just an operation to reclaim our official territories and punish the Nazis. It is possible and necessary to go to other parts of Ukraine. Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Nikolaev. To Kiev and beyond. There should be no restrictions. Now it can and should be discussed openly and without shame or diplomatic bows,” Medvedev said, Klix.ba writes.
