Meeting between Representatives of SNSD and the ‘Eight’ begins

Senior officials of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) as well as representatives of the eight political parties with which the agreement on coalition action at the state level was signed arrived in Doboj for a meeting to continue discussions on the implementation of the election results.

The SNSD leader Milorad Dodik as well as his close associates Željka Cvijanović, Zoran Tegeltija, Obren Petrović, Sanja Vulić, Boris Jerinić and Denis Šulić came to the meeting as well as Denis Šulić who, it was announced earlier, was supposed to be proposed as the new minister of human rights and refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The leaders of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), People and Justice, the People’s European Alliance (NES) and the Party for BiH Nermin Nikšić, Elmedin Konaković, Nermin Ogrešević and Semir Efendić also arrived at the Integra Hotel where the meeting is being held.

Earlier, Ogrešević and Efendić announced a possible departure from the coalition due to Dodik’s rhetoric as well as the adoption of the Law on Immovable Property used for the functioning of public authority in the RS, which the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared unconstitutional on September 22.

Representatives of the eight parties that are part of the coalition with SNSD and the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) had a meeting in Zenica yesterday when it was said that the appointment of the BiH Council of Ministers will be prolonged until the open issues are resolved.
