Meetings of Minster Lagumdžija in New York

Zlatko_lagumdzijaDeputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija on the second day of 68th session of the UN General Assembly held bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Albania.

Minister Lagumdžija at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on behalf of B&H signed an Agreement on Arms Trade (Arms Trade Treaty – ATT) which on that occasion is signed by the United States as well, based on the highest international standards for the import, export and transfer of conventional weapons.

At New York University, the Minister Lagumdžija lectured on the theme “Post-Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the way ahead” and spoke about reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina since Dayton until now and the strategic objectives of the country. He participated as a speaker at the high level meeting on arms trade treaty (ATT) and the Caspian forum dedicated to connecting the region with pipelines from the Caspian Sea.
