Member of BiH Presidency: State Property belongs to the Entities

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović stated that the property belongs to the entities and that the proposal of the state law on property that the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić sent to the procedure is “doomed to failure”.

Cvijanović said that this represents “cheap populism without constitutional foundation and any meaning”.

“It is clear to everyone in BiH, including the proponents, that this initiative is doomed to failure.

Just like any other that is based on overvoting within the Presidency. Its only scope can be even greater disorder and further complication of the already complex political situation in BiH “, said Cvijanović.

She emphasized that “the property belongs to the entities and no letter, let alone an article of the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement, stipulates the opposite – that it belongs to BiH”.

Let us remind you that the proposal of the state law on property has been officially submitted to the procedure of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The proposers are Denis Bećirović, member of the BiH Presidency, and Željko Komšić, chairman of the Presidency.
