Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic, and member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegovic met with the delegation of the Bishops’ Conference of Austria, which is headed by its president, the Archbishop of Vienna Cardinal Christoph Schonborn.

Members of the Presidency of BiH expressed their gratitude to Cardinal Schonborn, who chose BiH as the seat for the Bishops’ Conference, with which they gave special honour to all of our peoples and citizens.

They noted historical ties between BiH and Austria, which are still nourished, especially when it comes to high level visits, as well as the strong support that Austria gives to the European future of BiH.

Members of the Presidency of BiH wished a successful work to Cardinal Schonborn and thanked Cardinal Vinko Puljic for attending the meeting as well.

The meeting was attended by Advisor Diana Cekic on behalf of the member of the Presidency of BiH from the RS, Mladen Ivanic.
