On the occasion of the upcoming International Women’s Day, a commemorative ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia- Herzegovina on March 6, 2020.
In addition to the employees of Bosnian Ministry of Defense, the ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense Mirko Okolic, Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of BiH Muhamed Smajic, heads of organizational units of the BiH Ministry of Defense, as well as Deputy Chiefs of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH Major General Ivica Jerkic and Gojko Knezevic.
The commemorative address emphasized the importance of women in daily life and in society as a whole, as well as the availability of equal opportunities.
The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH have recognized the contribution of women, who, along with men, make an equal contribution to the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces mission.
