Members of BiH Presidency met with the Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina received the Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development, Ahmed Aqeel Al-Khateeb.

Members of the BiH Presidency expressed their satisfaction with the visit of Minister Al-Khateeb, with the assessment that bilateral relations between BiH and Saudi Arabia are friendly and good, and that there is significant potential and intention to improve overall cooperation, especially in the field of tourism and by increasing investments in numerous branches of BiH economy.

The members of the BiH Presidency expressed their gratitude for the Saudi support for development projects in the field of infrastructure, water supply and education on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which gave a significant impetus to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Minister Al-Khateeb said that Saudi Arabia will remain committed to further strengthening overall relations and will continue to provide support to development projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the Saudi Fund for Development, of which he is the head.

Speaking about the strengthening of contractual relations between BiH and Saudi Arabia, it was stated that a significant number of agreements have been signed, and that there is an intention to finalize the formal legal procedures for signing the agreements, which are in the process of harmonization.

The members of the BiH Presidency expressed their belief that the visit of Minister Al-Khateeb will make a strong contribution to the strengthening of the overall relations between the two countries and the improvement of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and mutual satisfaction, the BiH Presidency announced.
