Members of the BiH Border Police prevented the smuggling of 11 Persons

Members of the BiH Border Police Support and Control Unit Višegrad in Jagodina, Višegrad Municipality prevented the smuggling of 11 persons of Afro-Asian origin, during the control of three passenger motor vehicles.

There were five people of Afro-Asian origin in the first passenger motor vehicle of the Golf brand, which was driven by M. B., a citizen of BiH, then in the passenger motor vehicle of the brand Audi Q7, which was driven by Š. J. citizen of BiH, there were three persons of Afro-Asian origin, while in the passenger vehicle of the Golf brand, which was driven by K. S. citizen of BiH, there were three persons of Afro-Asian origin.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of Human Smuggling from Art. 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was informed about the incident and the three suspects were detained. Smuggled migrants were handed over to members of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners for further processing.
