What does the Memorial Park Vraca look like after Cleaning?

[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Memorial Park Vraca, a place that evokes the memory of 11.000 killed citizens of Sarajevo in the Second World War, has long been a neglected space, covered in shrubs, filled with trash and painted with graffiti.

That was the situation until last weekend, when the Historical Museum and AISEC, with the help of volunteers, launched a “working action” of cleaning and landscaping the complex.

Gathered in the group Vraca Revolution, 125 activists made a miracle in three days.

Volunteers say they wanted to make their city more beautiful, and they truly did it. Vraca Revolution is more than just a project; those who launched it hope that the group will turn into a movement for preservation of cultural heritage.

Take a look at what the Memorial Park Vraca looked like before and after the action.
