Arrested Secretary General of SDA Party handed to Prosecution Office

amir zukicThe Secretary General of SDA Party Amir Zukic and his driver Seid Fazlagić are handed to the jurisdiction of Prosecution of CS, where they will be held the next 24 hours, is confirmed by the spokeswoman of Prosecution of CS, Azra Bavčić.

Acting prosecutor will make a decision on further measures after the examination,  and will eventually order one month custody.

Zukić and Fazlagić were arrested on Friday, 17th  February, in the afternoon.

“Amir Zukic is charged, together with Seid Fazlagic, to organized a group which consisted of more people for illegal employment of people and party members in public companies. Several raids on different locations in CS, including the office of Amir Zukic, were done. The search was attended by two prosecutors, two witnesses and a member of the Main Board of the SDA, “said Bavčić.

To recall, Zukić was arrested for illegal employment in the public sector, and Fazlagić is charged with assistance to the perpetrator after the commission of the offense.

Amir Zukic, Asim Sarajlic and Mirsad Kukic were brought in connection with illegal employment after arrests in action “Bosna”. Esed Džananović, the former CEO of Elektroprivreda BiH , who was arrested at that time, said that the employment in the Elektroprivreda was conducted under direct orders from senior officials of the SDA Party.

Prosecution of CS, while asking for custody for arrested in Bosna case, stated that Zukić, Sarajlic and Kukic were involved in employment in other public companies as well.
