Mesud Pezer Won the Silver Medal

mesud-pezerThe best B&H young athlete Mesud Pezer won the silver medal in shot put at the European Winter Cup that was held last weekend in Leiria (Portugal).

The 20 year old member of Zenica Athletic Club won the medal in the category of younger seniors with the result 18.68 m. Thus, Pezer continues his successful performances in the international scene.

Javelin thrower Dejan Mileusnić won fourth place in the category of seniors with the result 80.40 m, which has significantly improved the national record. This result of the 23rd year old member of Zenica Athletic Club is classified in the European elite.

Kemal Mešić (Sarajevo Athletic Club) achieved a slightly weaker result. He came in seventh place in 19.51 m in a tough competition of 24 competitors.

Vanja Spaić, a young javelin thrower from Trebinje failed to improve her best personal score, which was her aim in this competition. She took last place with the result of 42.16 m in the senior category.
