metalingThanks to the natural wealth of BiH in terms of ore materials, light industry or metal processing sector is the strongest sector in the country. The share of this sector makes almost one-quarter of total BiH exports.

Metaling Ltd. Jajce was founded back in 2006 and now employs more than 50 workers and 90 % of their products goes to EU countries.

Pile Dujic, procurator in the company, says that the company is actively working on expanding its plants that will cover the new 6.500 m2. The plan is that the newly built halls get finished until the 1st of January 2016, and it will cost about 3 million BAM.”

“The new investment will mean new capital and new work places. Our company aims to invest in the domestic market but jobs that our company lives from are in the EU. After 25 years we have become recognized in these markets and we strive to always be in competition to others,” says Dujic.

The most important project on which the company is currently working on is the construction of metro in Copenhagen, contract that is worth over 15 million EUR.

“We are trying to, through all of our projects, work more towards export. The reasons why we operate outside of our country are cost-favorable markets in the EU and the regularity when applying for jobs. Of course, everything is not ideal there but if you impose to a market with your quality, you will certainly ensure success in future operations. Our work is active even in our country and we do not run away from it, “says Dujic.

The proof that Metaling Ltd. Jajce develops and expands its business on daily basis can also be seen in employment because the company employed 25 people and they plan to create new jobs by the end of the year.”

Our investments for the 2016-2017, amount to about 8 million BAM. Investments are aimed at creating a modern plants for the production of steel structures. Our plan is to import technical office with CNC machines, where the designed project will be linked with machines that will work on the final product,” said Dujic.
