Meteoalarm has issued a yellow warning for the greater part of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the predicted wind, which will blow up to 70 kilometers per hour, and for the regions of Višegrad, Sarajevo and Tuzla due to the predicted rain.
The warning was issued for the Banjaluka region due to predicted wind gusts of between 40 and 60 kilometers per hour, while for the Prijedor region, wind gusts are forecast to be between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour.
“Expect minor disruptions to outdoor activities. Be aware of debris carried by the wind,” it was announced on the website of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For the Višegrad region, the amount of precipitation is expected to be between 20 and 40 liters per square meter.
“Be aware of the possibility of localized flooding of a small number of properties, with local disruption to outdoor activities. Difficult driving conditions due to reduced visibility and uncontrolled vehicle movement due to rainfall,” the warning said.
A warning has been issued for the regions of Bihać, Livno, Sarajevo and Tuzla due to predicted wind gusts between 40 and 60 kilometers per hour.
A warning has also been issued for the Sarajevo region because the amount of precipitation is expected to be between 15 and 30 liters per square meter, and for the Tuzla region the expected amount of precipitation is between 20 and 40 liters of rain per square meter.
