The multi-national delegation of the military-diplomatic corps in BiH visited the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA).

The occasion for the visit was to present current achievements of SIPA, with a particular emphasis on the recent actions implemented in the fight against organized financial crime and corruption.

The Director of SIPA Goran Zubac spoke with the military attachés from Romania, Serbia, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Russia, Slovakia, Croatia, France, USA and Spain about the organizational structure of SIPA, its jurisdiction and all other relevant details related to its successful functioning.

Zubac said that SIPA was established based on the American organization FBI and would not allow anyone to interfere in the competence of the Agency, because SIPA respects the authority of other agencies in implementing laws in the country. SIPA’s previous activities in preventing and detecting different types of organized crime have returned the trust of citizens.

SIPA has exceptionally good cooperation with partner police organizations in BiH and with neighboring countries, and only in this way could they meet all the challenges in the fight against the most complex types of crime, said Zubac.

The military attaches said that they have a huge interest to accelerate the process of BiH and its Armed Forces on the path to Euro Atlantic integration, and offer ongoing support in bilateral cooperation.

After the meeting Brigadier General Andreas Rotter, as a sign of gratitude, offered Zubac a plaque of the military-diplomatic corps in BiH.
