Miners in Zenica suspended Production, others to join as well

The miners of the Old Pit of the Zenica Brown Coal Mine have stopped production because their salaries have not been paid in full for two months in a row, and it was announced that their colleagues from the Raspotocje pit will join them today.

The management of Rudnik deducted from the salaries of the miners the amount of the installment for loans, while the money was not immediately paid to the banks, and the banks, when the payment of salaries to the accounts was made, deducted the amount of the loan installment.

Due to the fact that the installments for loans were deducted practically twice from their salary, the miners did not enter the pit yesterday afternoon, and those from the first shift also refused, BHRT reported.

For now, there is no information from the administration when this problem will be solved.
