Minister Crnadak in an official Visit to the UAE

600_1476288374crnadak_al_nahyanMinister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak met yesterday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi, within his official visit to the UAE.

Minister Crnadak informed the host about events in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the path towards membership in the European Union and implementation of reforms aimed at creating better business environment. In this regard, Crnadak invited investors and representatives of UAE economy to invest in BiH, expressing expectation that in the coming period the cooperation will be concretized, given that investors from the UAE are showing interest in investing in BiH. As especially interesting fields of cooperation Crnadak mentioned tourism, transportation system and infrastructure, energy projects, food industry, defense industry, wood industry and others, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

Minister Crnadak invited the Minister Al Nahyan to visit BiH, with the aim of improving cooperation and intensifying investments from UAE to BiH, after the model of the existing projects in the region.

Ministers of foreign affairs agreed that the trade exchange between the two countries is increasing, which is definitely contributed to by the participation of BiH companies at the traditional festival Sheikh Zayed, as well as by regular participation of business delegation from the UAE at the Sarajevo Business Forum. Minister Crnadak greeted this practice and invited the representatives of UAE to continue participating actively in the future.
