They discussed the further steps of BiH that are required for the activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Minister Pendes presented the efforts that the Ministry of Defense of BiH is making with a special emphasis on the process of registration of military assets, the release of surplus ammunition and explosive devices, the policy of personnel management and the modernization plan of the Armed Forces of BiH.

As before, representatives of the United States and the United Kingdom expressed their readiness to support BiH in the aforementioned processes.

Military delegates, US Brigadier Mark M. Karas and British Colonel Paul Marshall with his associates were also present at the meeting, as stated by the Office of Public Affairs of the Ministry of Defense of BiH.
