The Ministry of Defense of BiH hosted a reception and a concert on the occasion of Christmas at the House of Armed Forces of BiH for representatives of political, military, religious, cultural and economic life as well as representatives of international organizations and diplomatic corps.

Minister Marina Pendes welcomed everyone on behalf of the host, and she said that Christmas represents the happiest holiday for all Christians.

“BiH, as well as all of us, needs hope. And in order to have hope, we need to have a pure heart,” stated Minister Pendes.

She also noted that people can trust each other only in that way.

“If we have hope, we have love as well. We expect the next year to be even more successful,” stated Minister Pendes.

She sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas to all Catholics.

The reception was attended by the President of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic, the President of FBiH Marinko Cavara, Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH Semiha Borovac as well as numerous other guests.
