“The making of the program of rural development of the FB&H 2013 – 2020 reaches its final phase. All necessary documents for the relevant institutions which should express opinion on the program have been prepared and everything should be completed by the end of the month.” – said Pejo Janjić, Head of the Department of the rural development at the Ministry of agriculture, waters and forestry of the FB&H.
IPARD like
The program was, since its beginning, made according to the IPARD like model, which means we followed the EU form for the making of the program. It actually means that first he list of all interested GOs and NGOs and institutions was made, but also the list of agriculture representatives who find this program interesting.
They were ranked, according to their relevance for the program and the degree of their influence and were included in the focus groups or at the meetings. Ultimately we are very satisfied with the program’s content and we believe that the representatives of our Government and the Parliament will recognize its importance and quality as well as the need to implement it as soon as possible.” – said Janjić.
At the Ministry’s request, the program was made by Catalys, the British consulting company specialized in the sector of the rural development and their contribution in making the program, was, besides Catalys, given by the representatives of the federal and cantonal ministry’s, the NG sector, regional development agencies, networks of the rural development in B&H but the state institutions as well.
“If the new Government and the Parliament will be established soon, the time needed to adapt the program legally should be around the end of this year. In this case, its implementation would begin already within the support program for the 2015.” – pointed out Janjić.
According to his words, the Ministry is already preparing some activities concerning changes and amendments of the key laws so we could create a legal frame for the implementation of the activities foreseen by the action plan at time.
