The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy announced that Monday, November 25 – Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a non-working day.

The Law on Proclaiming November 25 as the Statehood Day of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, No. 9/95), establishes that November 25 – Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a national holiday, and that state bodies, companies and other legal entities are not working on that day.

“According to the above, and bearing in mind that November 25 – Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina is celebrated only on the day of the holiday, and that the aforementioned law does not provide for the transfer of its celebration to another day, the aforementioned national holiday in the current calendar year will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2024, when it is a non-working day in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy announced.

The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy also congratulates all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Statehood Day.
