An expedition of Alpinists and mountaineers from Bosnia and Herzegovina climbed Mt. Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe.

The expedition was made up for Jelena Simovic – the Wolf from Foca, Namik Durakovic (the younger member of the expedition at 18 years), Erkam Durakovic (the leader of the expedition), Emir Grbo and Senad Beckovic, all from Sarajevo, and Darko Popovic from Banja Luka and Bruno Cegar from Stuttgard. It arrived at the 4810-meter high peak of the Alps, Mt. Blanc, at 7:30 a.m. and, after months of preparations, successfully completed their mission.

Despite the fact that bad weather followed them during their preparations, they had ideal weather during the expedition. They all successfully arrived at the peak of Europe and safely returned to their starting point.
