13233372_1181476485236639_1160021357_nExhibition in the Museum of War Childhood was closed yesterday in Sarajevo, after being on display for ten days and visited by 4.000 people.

As the Museum stated, the seemingly humble and worthless objects in the exhibition hide incredible life stories and are of great importance for people who were children during the war.

“Stories behind the objects not only evoke sadness, but also joy, pride, nostalgia and other powerful emotions. The visitors wrote their opinions about the exhibition on several hundreds of pages in the Book of Impressions. Among them were the writer Almir Imširević, actress Maja Izetbegović, historian Nihad Kreševljaković and musician Damir Imamović,” the Museum stated.

The Museum announced that they will continue fighting for their permanent premises in Sarajevo and that they will make a tour around BiH soon.

Moreover, they stated that they will continuously work on collecting objects and stories. Therefore, they invite all citizens of BiH born between 1974 and 1992, who wish to donate their objects to the museum and tell their story, to contact them via webpage djetinjstvouratu/muzej.
