mostar (source mostarfilmfestival)Paris is romantic – everyone knows that.

Not only is Paris ideal for romance and romantic trips- many cities are perfect for couples in love.

CNN has created a list of ten less well-known and popular places that are equally dreamy, romantic and perfect for love.

Whether the criteria is for food, good wine, sun and favorable climate or famous monuments…these places are tempting for all travelers and especially for those in love.

mostarA Herzegovinian pearl is on the list- Mostar, a symbol of reconciliation, with the Old Bridge which two decades ago was demolished, and with its long history. This medieval town is revived after years of war with the help of UNESCO and is now a beautiful city – a kaleidoscope that perfectly combines different historical periods and architectural features.

The heart and soul of Mostar- The old town is a place of stone streets, colorful shops, wonderful restaurants and the turquoise river Neretva, writes CNN.

In the list there are also Udaipur in India, Waiheke Island belonging to New Zealand, Cafayate in Argentina, Hoi An in Vietnam, Quirimbas Island and Mozambique, Middleburg in Virginia in the United States, Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands, Vernazza in Italy and Galle in Sri Lanka.
