Municipality Gradiška Sent Humanitarian Aid to Malgaj

Gradiška Aid to MaglajGradiška municipality sent today humanitarian aid to population of Maglaj affected by floods.

Mayor of Gradiška municipality Zoran Latinović  said that in this way we show solidarity with citizens of Maglaj, but also the readiness to cooperate with all the municipalities.

Gradiska as part of the humanitarian help sent 40 beds, provided by company “Lion”, food, hygienic supplies to the residents of Maglaj affected by floods.

Latinović reminds that Gradiška municipality is among first to have sent aid to flooded municipalities in RS, Doboj, Bijeljina and Šamac and now to municipality Maglaj in FB&H.

“We have shown humanity and solidarity with residents of Maglaj  by helping them in some way after the catastrophic floods, but also that this become an opportunity for further strengthening of reconciliation and solidarity among people in B&H”, said Latinović.

He added that municipality Gradiška is trying to cooperate with municipalities in B&H, but also to cooperate with local communities in neighboring Croatia with the aim of accelerating the development of European perspective of this area.
