Municipality of Ilidža distributed 50 BAM to its oldest Residents

Opcina Ilidza 2 (source Drmaj.ba)Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidza, the professor dr. Senaid Memić and the Head of the coordination work MZ Enes Čorbo, on 9th February organized the reception for 30 of 1 519 oldest residents of Ilidza’s Municipality.

On that occasion, they gave cash gifts in the amount of 50 BAM and to all resident who are over than 80 years old.

“I wish you many more years to live and this little gest is just a confirmation that you are not forgotten. Humanity of our municipality can be seen from this meeting and from the care about you. We appreciate what you have done during your working life. This amount of 50 BAM for you 1 519 is only a confirmation of our relationship with you. I hope that we will see each other next year”, said the Mayor Memic.

Fehim Čedić who is 82 years old thanked the Mayor for the organized meeting and funds.

“This reception means a lot for me. It means that our Mayor respects us. Many thanks to him”, said Čedić.

Enver Mrzić (97) also had words of thanks to the gesture of the Mayor.

“He remembers us each year in February and I really appreciate this meeting”, added Mrzić.
