After accepting the plea agreement, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo convicted El Oweiti Abdel Majid, Hedberg Oliver Peter and Konrad Tylus of the murder of a Swedish citizen and sentenced them to ten years in prison each.
They will serve their sentences in Sweden at the request of the defense.
The defendants are charged with killing a Swedish citizen on October 31, 2023, at around 4:25 p.m. in the Sarajevo municipality of Ilidža, more precisely, in the Bulevar neighborhood in front of one of the buildings.
After the murder, the defendants fled to the territory of the Republika Srpska.
Shortly after, they were arrested by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, two of them in Pale, while the defendant Hedberg Oliver Peter was arrested in the Sokolac municipality, Klix.ba writes.
