US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Michael Murphy met on Tuesday with the Mayor of Novo Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, and discussed the planned World Trade Center project in Sarajevo.

On that occasion, they emphasized how this project will improve economic activity and attract foreign investment.

“The presence of this American brand in BiH further connects our two countries and contributes to the prosperity of both countries,” said Ambassador Murphy, published on the X platform.

The World Trade Center (WTC) project in Sarajevo will be a residential and commercial building located in the Pofalići neighborhood, along the city’s main thoroughfare, and is planned to begin construction this year.

The Executive Director of the WTC Association, Robin van Puyenbreck, emphasized during the presentation of this project that the buildings of this American brand around the world, the most famous of which is the one in New York, are becoming symbols.

However, he emphasized that the WTC is not only real estate, but also a catalyst for investment in various sectors, which will contribute to economic development.
