Musk wants to overthrow the British Prime Minister

Billionaire Elon Musk has held private talks with allies about possible ways to topple British Prime Minister Keir Starmer before the next general election, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

Musk, the world’s richest person and a close ally of US President-elect Donald Trump, last month backed Germany’s anti-immigration party ahead of the February election and has repeatedly spoken out on British politics, calling for the prime minister to resign.

Musk has been considering how he and his allies can destabilise the Labour government and has sought information on building support for alternative British political movements to bring down the government, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Musk did not respond to a Reuters request for comment.

“His view is that Western civilisation itself is under threat,” one of the sources told the newspaper.

Musk previously accused Starmer of failing to prosecute gangs of men who raped young girls when Starmer was Britain’s chief prosecutor between 2008 and 2013.

Musk is scheduled to host Alternative for Germany party leader Alice Videl in a live interview on Twitter on Thursday.

It was announced that they would discuss freedom of speech and other topics following the tech billionaire’s support for Germany’s far-right party in Germany’s upcoming general election, dpa reported.

The German party supported by Musk has been labeled as right-wing and extremist by the German security services.

Front man Tesla’s campaign for the AfD, combined with insults against top German politicians, has been a source of controversy for weeks.

Critics accuse him of using his vast reach to influence the outcome of Germany’s February 23 election.

Musk’s messages on Twitter reach more than 210 million users worldwide.

Earlier this week, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Storr expressed concern about Musk meddling in the politics of other countries.
