New Cases of Coronavirus infection recorded in Sarajevo

In the past 24 hours, 554 people were tested in Sarajevo Canton, and 14 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed. One person died, and 15 patients recovered from Covid-19 infection.

There are currently 29 patients in hospital, 14 of whom have an acute infection, while the rest have post covid complications or are under observation.

At the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, 16 patients are being treated, and at the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas ”13 of them.

One patient is on a respirator and one uses oxygen support to breathe above 15 liters per minute.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 115 active cases of Covid-19 infection. There are currently 812 people in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 53,051 people have been infected with coronavirus and 51,645 cured.

According to the data of the Public Health Institute of CS, in the past seven days the average number of infected is 18, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 30.
