New Operating Block in KCUS Opened

SVEÈANO OTVORENJE NOVOG OPERACIONOG BLOKAThe FB&H Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, Director of Surgery of KCUS Haris Tanović and Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to B&H Muhammed al Farshouti opened a new operating block at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), which is located on floors 6 and 7 at the Central Medical Block.

The newly built area has 11 new operating rooms with intensive care, with a total area of 5,000 square meters.

The ceremony at KCUS was attended by government representatives and those involved in the medical field. The importance of this project for development and medical institutions was highlighted, conditions for better staff training and better conditions for the treatment of patients.

FB&H Prime Minister Nikšić said at the meeting that KCUS is the leading medical institution in B&H, and the quality of work is aligned with leading European centers.

‘’Above all, KCUS thanks the work, effort and commitment of employees who manage to direct their strength towards what is most important, to each patient’’, he said.
