Today, the “New Year’s and Christmas Bazaar” was officially opened on Freedom Square in Trebinje.

Numerous Herzegovinian products were presented in the organization of the city’s Tourist Organization, and in the coming days the bazaar will be a gathering place for both Trebinje residents and tourists who have decided to visit the southernmost city of Republika Srpska.

Decorated stands, decorated with lights and New Year’s details, offer a variety of local products – from traditional delicacies and hot drinks, to handicrafts, souvenirs and gifts ideal for the upcoming holidays.

The smells of mulled wine, homemade cakes and specialties enticed passers-by to stop, taste and feel the spirit of the holiday.

The bazaar brought special joy to the youngest. Santa Claus patiently received children’s wishes and distributed gifts, while mascots of favorite children’s heroes tirelessly entertained the little ones, who ran from stall to stall with enthusiasm.

Laughter, songs and children’s noise filled the space and gave the bazaar that most beautiful note – sincere joy.

The bazaar was opened by Mayor Mirko Ćurić, who wished everyone a happy upcoming holidays.

The festive atmosphere was complemented by music and performances by folklore ensembles.
