New Year’s preparations have begun in Banja Luka, and in addition to the “Zimzobal” event, which begins on Friday, December 1, “Zimzopark” will also be organized this year.

Mayor Draško Stanivuković said that the great offer at the new location near the newly built arena with two concerts by Lepa Brena and Željko Samardžić guarantees the best New Year’s Eve so far.

Stanivuković pointed out that this year will be the best offer of “Zimzobal” so far, with the largest number of houses and 300 hours of music and entertainment programs.

“Several concerts, daily parties, a rich gastronomic offer and great entertainment await you already on Friday, December 1, and we planned the grand opening for Sunday, December 3,” Stanivuković said at the press conference where the program of the event was presented.

He announced that this year Banjaluka will also celebrate St. Nicholas’ Day, the children’s New Year, as well as a special program to mark January 9, but also a slightly different celebration of the Orthodox New Year, and invited citizens and all tourists to come in the next month and for half a day they will be part of “Banjaluka winter”.

Director of the City Development Agency, Neven Stanić, said that “Zimzobal” will open its doors to visitors already on Friday, December 1, and will last until January 15.

“We are convinced that both domestic and foreign visitors will be able to enjoy the various contents of “Zimzobal” in the next 45 days and that they will be satisfied with the offer,” said Stanić.

He stated that this year the capacities have been expanded and an additional number of houses has been provided, and that the entire “Petar Kočić” park will be available to visitors.
