An article about the debut of BH companies on the international fair of suppliers of the Volkswagen group, IZB 2018 (Internationale Zuliefererbörse 2018), was publsihed in the renowned German daily newspaper “Wolfsburger Nachrichten”. This fair is held every two years in Wolfsburg under the auspices of WOB AG, which is owned by the City of Wolfsburg in the amount of 50 % and by Volkswagen in the amount of 50 % as well, as announced by the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH.
In the article was noted that BiH celebrates its first appearance at this important fair and that nine companies from the automotive sector in BiH will have the opportunity to present themselves and the range of their products and services.
More than 800 companies from 34 countries around the world will present themselves at the prestigious IZB 2018, and there is around 300 global companies on the waiting list. Nine companies from BiH will be located in Hall no. 4 at the common stand no. 4.302, in the organization of the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH.
Considering the importance of the economic power and the potential for the growth of this industry, the Government of FBiH started the project “Development of the Automotive Industry of the FBiH” in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH.
It is important to note that continuous training, standardization and certification systematically increases competitiveness of the economy, as well as the long experience of domestic suppliers, and their current abilities, technological improvement and commitment towards further development and improvement.
These activities were also recognized and supported by the USAID WHAM project.
