img-0295-h1500_46346735The oldest and the only BiH fashion event, the BH Fashion Week Sarajevo and NIVEA continued their partnership and last night they proved that they are great hosts to the numerous domestic and foreign designers in BiH.

As in previous seasons, there were simply not enough invitations for this fashion spectacle. The 37th Nivea BiH Fashion Week Sarajevo was officially opened last night in the full hall of the House of the Armed Forces.

The famous BiH designer Emina Husedžinović-Ibrahimović was honored with officially opening the fashion week. She presented her new collection called the Victorian Wood, inspired by the 19th century when women took over the fashion scene. Black color, which is a synonym for elegance and luxury, is predominant in that collection.

Renowned men’s brand Jeordie’s showed their latest collection. Fashion studio Anatasia Fashion from Banja Luka presented their gowns and wedding studio Hills presented their wedding dresses.

The evening was closed by the famous designer Emir Medić from Dusseldorf, who originates from Doboj. He presented his new collection Dazzle ss17.

“This collection actually reveals that terror and fear can be defeated with their own weapons today. The masking and unmasking technique can be used better, in a way that the observer will defeat the negative present with its own weapon and thus change the situation for the better,” said Emir Medić.

For the 37th time, organizers of the most important fashion event in the country, the Association of models and fashion designers of BiH and the fashion agency Abc Models as executive producer reminded the guests that BiH has extremely creative and inspired fashion designers who offer something new, special, unique, season after season.
