The Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton confirmed that the 25th Sarajevo Film Festival finished without incident, at all festival venues and film screenings.

Each night, about 200 police officers were hired in uniform and civilian suits.

Police Commissioner Nusret Selimovic thanked for the cooperation with the organizer of the Sarajevo Film Festival, which was at a high level before and during the SFF itself.

“We would also like to thank all the citizens and visitors of Sarajevo Canton, and especially the citizens in the city center, who, during the complete suspension of traffic and maintenance of the SFF, contributed to this important event,” Selimovic added.

Commissioner Selimovic praised the police officers who participated in the implementation of the Operational Plan of the Police Directorate and made their utmost efforts for this event.

Also, the performance of world-renowned DJ Solomun in front of the Eternal Flame went on without incident in the presence of more than 10,000 visitors.
