Official Public Debate about Sutorina on 24th February

Public_debate_on_SutorinaThe Constitutional Commission of the House of the Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina has organized a public debate on the status of Sutorina on 24th February.

The goal of the debate is to exchange opinions regarding the status of Sutorina.

Participants in the debate will include members of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, representatives of the Presidency of BiH, the Council of Ministers of BiH, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH – the State Border Commission, the association of citizens, and all other persons who are able to contribute to the debate on the status of Sutorina.

A draft agreement regarding the state border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, was established by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the beginning of November 2014, and stipulates that Sutorina should permanently remain a part of Montenegro by the will of the state authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Council of Ministers of BiH established the draft agreement about the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro in the session at the beginning of November 2014, which defines the state border  will be marked on the ground in a period of three years from the signing of this agreement.
