The prices of oil on the world market increased today after the US President Donald Trump suggested that new sanctions could be imposed on Iran.

In London, the price of the Brent crude from the North Sea increased for 45 cents and now amounts to $ 56.56 Dollar per barrel.

In New York, the price of the crude light oil rose for 48 cents, and currently, amounts to 54.02 dollars per barrel.

Analysts say that the comments made by the Russian minister of energy Aleksandar Novak, contributed to increase in prices. Namely, he said that the oil producers agreed to cut production in line with the agreement reached in December.

Sources from Trump administration said that Washington is preparing to announce new measures against more than 20 companies and individuals in Iran over missile tests carried out by the Tehran.
