A unique congratulation was sent from Mostar from the Old Bridge on Saturday evening to the citizens of the friendly United States of America on the occasion of the 4th of July, the Independence Day of the United States.

Organized by the “Center for Peace and Multiethnic Cooperation”, on this occasion and on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of peace and partnership between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Old Bridge was illuminated with the colors of the United States flag, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.

Today, when we are united in the difficult fight against coronavirus, it is important to remind that the United States was with the citizens of Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the most difficult moments, and played a key role in stopping the aggression on BiH, and then establishing lasting peace. In these efforts, Mostar had a special place, as a city that was an integral part of all peace agreements from Washington to Dayton. The United States has always advocated for Mostar as the only city of all its citizens, and the war-torn ties with the people of Mostar have been built by making a huge contribution to the global partnership to build the Old Bridge as a world monument to peace.
