mostarLast night, Mostar sent a symbolic message of support to Turkey after the deadly terrorist attack that happened in Istanbul two nights ago.

On this occasion, upon the initiative by the Center for Peace and Multiethnic Cooperation the Old Bridge in the city on Neretva was lit in the colors of the Turkish flag.

On behalf of many people from Mostar, the Center for Peace expressed solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attack and sent messages of condolences to the citizens of Turkey.

Forty-one people were killed and 120 wounded in the terrorist attack at the Airport Ataturk in Istanbul two nights ago. Some of the victims were buried yesterday.

Turkey was the first donor in the process of reconstruction of the Old Bridge, the bridge that now stands as an international symbol of peace and reconciliation.
