The 88-year-old woman Hankija lives with her ill son Abdulah. She knits socks and sells them in the market to collect money to provide for her son.
Last month, with tears in her eyes Hankija Omerović revealed her biggest desire: “Son, buy me a fridge so that I remember the time in my life when I had it.”
Many people joined the campaign to help her and one month later the results were visible:
“At the end of the year, I could not even imagine that house for grandma Hankija will be completed so soon after I published the appeal. Final works on the façade are being conducted right now and we also have money for furniture,” said the organizer of the campaign.
