Sarajevo police was informed at 6.30 on Sunday morning that a fight had taken place in which several people were allegedly involved near the Usivak migrant center in Hadzici municipality near Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital Sarajevo.
A patrol of the local police force immediately came to the scene and found a person of Afro-Asian descent with visible injuries.
The injured person was transported to the Clinical Centre University Sarajevo by the emergency department of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service, where it was stated at 10.00 that he had died.
Investigation is underway conducted by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton.
The identity of the said person is unknown.
More information will be known after the investigation is completed and relevant information is collected regarding the event as well as the exact cause of death, News Agency Patria reports.
