Opening of the Winter Season on Jahorina today

Jahorina BiHWinter tourist season will officially be opened on Jahorina today.

The winter season will officially be declared open by the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska Predrag Gluhaković, Mayor of East Sarajevo Nenad Samardžija, and the Director of Olympic Center “Jahorina” Velibor Lazarević.

The entertainment program on the occasion of the opening of tourist season includes performance of the band “Beogradski sindikat”, on the plateau at the six-seater “Ogorjelica jedan” near the Hotel Košuta in the period from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., while the Sarajevo band Regina will perform live at the club Bistrica in the mentioned hotel from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The ski-lift Poljice will be in function for skiers and boarders, and ski-pass will cost 15 BAM for adults and 12 BAM for children; it was announced.

Working hours of this ski-lift are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Besides the ski-lift, the six-seater Ogorjelica will also be in function in the period from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and the price of ticket for panoramic ride to the top of Jahorina is seven BAM.
