Orange Warning issued for BiH due to extremely high Temperatures

The Federal Hydro Meteorological Institute (FHMZ) of BiH issued an orange warning for the territory of BiH, while the red warning was issued for the area of Prijedor, due to extremely high temperatures in the whole country that are expected today and tomorrow.

At the beginning of this week are expected high daily temperatures that will range from 32 °C to 38 °C, and the warning is particularly referring to a time period from 9 AM to 5 PM.

In the north and south of the country, the maximum local values can reach even 40 °C.

Today, the weather in BiH will be mostly sunny and very hot. The wind will be weak to moderate strength of the southwest direction, as well as intensified. The morning temperatures will range between 16 °C and 21°C, in the south up to 24 °C, and the highest daily temperature will be between 33 °C and 39 °C.

The weather in Sarajevo will be sunny. Morning temperatures will be around 17 °C, and the highest daily temperature will be 33 °C.
