Our Party says it supports BiH Presidency Member’s Decision about new Ambassadors

Our Party fully supports the constitutional right and obligation of the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to propose ambassadors and underlines that political parties should not directly influence that process.

Our Party announced that the nominations by Denis Bećirović, a member of the BiH Presidency, which appeared in the media, indicate that Bećirović was guided by high and measurable criteria and that it is a combination of career diplomats and people with political experience, following the example of good international democratic practices.

Our Party especially supports the proposal to appoint Damir Arnaut as ambassador.

“Arnaut already held the position of ambassador in Australia, where he successfully worked in the interest of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His experience includes a career as a lawyer in Washington and significant activity on the judicial and congressional benches. With graduate and post-graduate education at the prestigious Berkeley University, Arnaut is certainly qualified to represent the citizens, companies and institutions of the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best way,” Our Party announced.
