At the end of February, or early March 2025, there were 106,486 blocked accounts of business entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is eight more accounts than in the previous month’s report (106,478), according to data from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The new report, which contains 4,308 (four pages more than in the previous month’s report), also states that at the end of February, or early March 2025, 58,221 companies had at least one blocked account, which is an increase of 62 compared to the previous month (58,159).

This updated report of blocked accounts listed in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Unified Register of Accounts lists legal entities from all spheres of social life, from commercial enterprises, shops, hair salons, gas stations, pharmacies, clinics, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives, and companies. This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, sports associations…

In the first report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
